Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Neville Champman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Ovechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander Ovechkin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Neville Champman's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Neville Champman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Alexander Ovechkin! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ovechkin tries to keep at a distance but Champman has taken the fight into the clinch. The referee calls for Champman to work.
Ovechkin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ovechkin lands with a light punch inside. Ovechkin wants to get back to striking at distance but Champman won't allow it.
Ovechkin tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Champman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. The referee is keeping an eye on Champman - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Ovechkin drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Champman stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Champman leaning against his opponent.
Champman is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ovechkin can't fight it off and eventually Champman manages to take the fight to the floor. Ovechkin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Champman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Champman stopping the sweep attempt from Ovechkin. Ovechkin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Champman is aware though and is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Champman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Champman connects with a nice short shot to Ovechkin's temple. Ovechkin is looking to improve his position.
Champman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Champman wants to take a breather but Ovechkin is having none of it.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Neville Champman just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Ovechkin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Neville Champman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Ovechkin. Ovechkin throws a lazy right hand but Champman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ovechkin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Champman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Ovechkin has gone for a leg lock! Champman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ovechkin's guard. Ovechkin looks gassed! Champman sitting in guard here, content to control. Champman trying to control the position from guard on top but Ovechkin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Ovechkin manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Champman gets full guard. Ovechkin postures up.

Ovechkin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Champman pulls his head out easily. Well, if Champman is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Champman prevents Ovechkin from improving his position. Ovechkin is pressing down on Champman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Champman wants to control from the top but Ovechkin keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Neville Champman dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ovechkin shoots in and bounces Champman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Champman wants to sweep but no luck. Champman controlling Ovechkin's posture. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Champman shoots in for a takedown but Ovechkin shows good takedown defense. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Ovechkin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ovechkin tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Champman counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ovechkin's guard now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Champman works a leg free and moves into half guard. Champman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ovechkin keeps working. Ovechkin actively working from the bottom here. Neville Champman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ovechkin is breathing heavily. Ovechkin wants to improve his position but Champman is controlling well.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Ovechkin looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Champman wants to control but Ovechkin is keeping him busy. Ovechkin tries to roll over but Champman keeps him under control. Ovechkin throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Ovechkin is looking for a sweep. Champman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Champman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ovechkin tries for a takedown but Champman circles away easily and Champman counters with a takedown into side control. Champman slows the pace down. Ovechkin regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Neville Champman dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Champman clinches up with Ovechkin and pushes him back against the cage. Champman is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Champman presses Ovechkin against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Ovechkin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Champman smiles and moves away.
