Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wade Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edwards kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is tie me down . Bishop has chosen Lose Yourself as his entrance music. Wade Edwards could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Steven Bishop's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wade Edwards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Bishop!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Edwards tries to avoid it but Bishop manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Edwards to the ground. Edwards escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bishop closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Edwards to the mat! Edwards manages to get full guard.

Bishop drops back, looking for a kneebar! Edwards looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Edwards looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Edwards!

That was a close round but I would say that Wade Edwards will probably get the nod.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Edwards accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
