Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mashinata throws a right hand that lage ducks under and follows up with a left that lage also avoids with ease.
lage tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mashinata throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mashinata closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming lage to the mat! lage manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

lage wants to get back to his feet but Mashinata is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
lage thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
