Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Duder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faber comes to the cage accompanied by Cypress Hill - Rock Superstar. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Faber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Duder! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faber tries to keep at a distance but Duder has taken the fight into the clinch. Duder breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Faber throws a leg kick that misses. Faber wants to clinch and Duder counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Faber's guard now. Duder wants to stand but Faber is controlling his posture from full guard. Duder stands and steps away. Faber gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Faber rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Duder moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Faber looks to clinch and Duder counters with a single leg into guard. Faber didn't expect that. Faber trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Duder decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Duder circles away from the clinch attempt and Duder counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duder stops Faber from standing up. Duder wants to stand but Faber is controlling his posture from full guard. Faber is looking to stand up but Duder isn't so interested in that idea. Faber has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Duder wanted to stand there but Faber had control of the position. Duder won't allow Faber to get back to his feet. Faber is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Duder stands and steps away. Faber gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Faber clinches. Duder jumps guard but Faber stands there with Duder around his waist. Duder gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Faber darts in trying to clinch and Duder counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Faber is lucky that one didn't land flush. Duder shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Duder controlling the position easily from mount. Duder looking to control but Faber is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Duder stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Faber closes the distance but Duder moves to the side and Duder counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Faber is lucky that one didn't land flush. Faber scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Faber stands up out of the half guard. Faber closes the distance looking to clinch and Duder counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Faber lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Duder backwards. Duder wants a takedown.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Duder stands and steps away. Faber gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Duder changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Faber looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Duder decides to stand back up. Faber throws a head kick but Duder moves out of range.
Faber tries to clinch and Duder counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Duder. Faber pushes off an throws an elbow but Duder leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Faber with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Faber drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Duder gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Faber looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A combination from Faber does no damage. Faber tries to clinch but Duder moves out of range. Faber squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Faber is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Faber regains half guard. Faber kicks Duder off and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faber shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Duder counters with a nice double leg into side control. Faber won't be happy with that. Duder stands up and beckons Faber to his feet. Duder stuns Faber with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Duder instigates a clinch. Duder breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Faber wants to clinch and Duder counters with a shoot takedown. Faber fights it but they end up in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Duder showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Duder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Duder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
