Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Domingo Cardenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Wild Child (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Domingo Cardenas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Wild Child! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wild Child tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cardenas swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cardenas has a takedown stuffed. Wild Child drives through with a takedown into guard. Wild Child is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Cardenas has his foot on Wild Child's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wild Child works his way back into a safe position though. Wild Child postures up in Cardenas's guard and throws a big left but Cardenas blocks it. Cardenas working a defensive guard here.
Wild Child's corner is telling him to maintain position. Wild Child preventing the sweep. Wild Child wants to control from the top but Cardenas keeps moving. Cardenas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wild Child doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wild Child manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wild Child tries for a takedown but Cardenas circles away easily and Cardenas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wild Child's guard now. Wild Child working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cardenas. Cardenas tries to free his leg and advance position but Wild Child is retaining full guard. Wild Child looking for a sweep. Not yet Wild Child, not yet. Cardenas wants to get up but he can't break Wild Child's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Wild Child wants to sweep here but Cardenas controlling him for the moment. Wild Child is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wild Child looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wild Child looking for a guillotine here but Cardenas defends easily.
Cardenas working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wild Child takes a swing at Cardenas's ribcage but misses. Cardenas forces Wild Child back against the cage and clinches. Cardenas tries for a takedown. No joy.
Cardenas is working for takedown but Wild Child is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Domingo Cardenas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wild Child keeps control of Cardenas as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cardenas managing to block the knees to the body from Wild Child.

Cardenas wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Wild Child is now in half guard. Cardenas is doing well to control the position and prevent Wild Child from advancing to side control. Cardenas wants to control but Wild Child is keeping busy.
Cardenas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wild Child decides to return to a standing position. Wild Child looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cardenas is fending him off so far but Wild Child persists. Nope, Cardenas circles away and we're back to standing. Cardenas shoots in for a double leg but Wild Child sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cardenas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wild Child throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cardenas was covering up waiting for the punch and Wild Child finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wild Child is looking to work some ground and pound but Cardenas has wrist control. Wild Child sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cardenas's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Wild Child dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A punch lands to the side of Wild Child 's head but he takes it in his stride. Wild Child gets in close and instigates a clinch. Wild Child looking for a takedown. Cardenas on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Wild Child misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Wild Child fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Wild Child looking for a takedown. Domingo Cardenas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Wild Child. Cardenas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wild Child fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Domingo Cardenas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cardenas looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cardenas wants to control from the top but Wild Child keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cardenas throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wild Child works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wild Child pulls Cardenas in close to prevent any damage. Cardenas thows a big elbow that misses. Wild Child utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Cardenas missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cardenas has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Wild Child looking to control.
Cardenas wants to control from the top but Wild Child keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Cardenas wants to clinch but Wild Child slips to the side and Wild Child counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cardenas! Cardenas is trying to escape the mount.
Wild Child wants to finish this one by submission but Cardenas is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Wild Child. Cardenas is working to get back to half guard.
Cardenas wants to hold on but Wild Child pushes him away. Wild Child manages to capitalize on a mistake by Cardenas to take his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cardenas trying to control the action but Wild Child just sinks the hooks in. Wild Child scores with punches to the body. Cardenas is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Wild Child 's hooks. Wild Child looking to control but Cardenas is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wild Child looking to finish with strikes here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wild Child goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cardenas is on top in guard.
William Wild Child has got the better of the ground game so far. Cardenas trying to control but Wild Child is working from the bottom. Cardenas gets to his feet. Wild Child looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Cardenas is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cardenas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Domingo Cardenas will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Wild Child avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Wild Child tries to work over Cardenas's front leg with a kick but Cardenas checks it. Cardenas fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cardenas takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cardenas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wild Child defends it nicely. Wild Child scores with a head kick.
Cardenas shoots in and drives through. Wild Child sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cardenas tried to score with a low kick but Wild Child checks it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wild Child tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cardenas swivels and escapes. Cardenas shoots for a takedown but Wild Child saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Domingo Cardenas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cardenas misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wild Child gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Cardenas tries to break free but Wild Child pushes him back against the cage. Cardenas prevents a body shot from Wild Child. Wild Child is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cardenas pulls him back up using the underhooks. Cardenas tries to pull guard but Wild Child won't allow it.

Cardenas looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wild Child! Wild Child tries to hold on but Cardenas postures up. Wild Child avoids a series of strikes thrown by Cardenas.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wild Child is squirming around, avoiding Cardenas's attempts to control the action. Wild Child wants to hold on but Cardenas pushes him away. Wild Child is trying to escape the mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wild Child is trying to escape the mount.
Cardenas avoids the attempt from Wild Child to control. Cardenas with shots to the head and body - Wild Child looks very uncomfortable down there. Cardenas scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Wild Child?
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wild Child wants to control but Cardenas is having none of it. Wild Child can't escape the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Domingo Cardenas showed his dominance in that final round. I think Cardenas has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
