Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Giovanni Van Der Zwet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Serj Tankian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giovanni Van Der Zwet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Serj Tankian! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tankian throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Van Der Zwet scores with a sloppy right hand. Tankian should have avoided that one. Tankian lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Van Der Zwet circles away quickly and effectively. Van Der Zwet shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Tankian wants to get back to his feet. Van Der Zwet tries to pass to full mount but Tankian defends it. Tankian wants to get back to his feet. Tankian is refusing to be controlled, as Van Der Zwet sits in half guard. Van Der Zwet is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tankian doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Van Der Zwet. Van Der Zwet wants to control but Tankian is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Der Zwet is looking for a kimura but Tankian is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Van Der Zwet to get the leverage.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Van Der Zwet is defended easily by Tankian. Serj Tankian is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Van Der Zwet uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tankian.
Van Der Zwet lands with a hook. Tankian tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Some wild striking there from Tankian.
Tankian on the wrong end of a nice hook. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Van Der Zwet lands a nice shot to the body.
Van Der Zwet avoids a punch combination nicely.
Serj Tankian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tankian looks gassed! Tankian tries to clinch there but Van Der Zwet circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Der Zwet drops Tankian with a beautiful combination! Tankian stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Van Der Zwet is looking for the KO!
Tankian is rocked!
It looks like Serj Tankian has been cut. Van Der Zwet scores with a shot to the body.
Tankian is still on wobbly legs! Can Van Der Zwet finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Van Der Zwet throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Van Der Zwet connects with a stiff jab that staggers Tankian - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
