Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Powers.
Powers throws a sloppy head kick and BiJay moves out of range easily.

BiJay tries to score a power double leg takedown but Powers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten BiJay somewhat.
Powers looks to land a combination but BiJay avoids it well.
Max Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Powers thows a body shot but no joy.

Powers closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

BiJay is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Powers defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now BiJay is on top in guard.
BiJay postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

BiJay is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Powers is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Powers has escaped and now he's on top!
BiJay utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
BiJay looking for a triangle here. Powers is fighting it but it looks tight! BiJay pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Powers is tapping out - this one is all over!
