With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Glick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Bonnie Jr!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bonnie Jr swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Josh Glick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bonnie Jr is pressed up against the cage. Glick has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bonnie Jr down to the mat. Bonnie Jr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Glick tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bonnie Jr swivels and escapes.

Glick is just content to waste time from the top position. Bonnie Jr takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Glick has gone for a leg lock! Bonnie Jr slips out almost immediately though and dives into Glick's guard.
Bonnie Jr won't allow Glick to sweep him here.

Glick is working hard here to advance position.

Glick is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bonnie Jr is aware though and is defending well.
Glick controls Bonnie Jr momentarily but Bonnie Jr frees himself.
Bonnie Jr postures up in Glick's guard and throws a big left but Glick blocks it.
Glick manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bonnie Jr manages to get himself to full guard.

Glick tries for a takedown but Bonnie Jr sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Glick is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bonnie Jr reverses the position - he's now on top in Glick's guard.
Glick controls Bonnie Jr momentarily but Bonnie Jr frees himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bonnie Jr stands up over Glick, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Glick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bonnie Jr on the ground.

Glick preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Glick wants to sweep but no luck.
Glick wants to stand up but Bonnie Jr is controlling him.

Glick postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bonnie Jr is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Glick, into his guard.
Glick on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Glick tries to get out of the position.

Glick had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bonnie Jr defends it easily.

Glick wants to stand and escape but Bonnie Jr is having none of it.

Glick is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bonnie Jr is just riding it out for now. Glick eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Glick is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bonnie Jr is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Glick has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Glick!
Glick throws and elbow that misses. Bonnie Jr uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Glick's guard. Nice move by Bonnie Jr!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Glick can't keep his opponent in guard - Bonnie Jr advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Josh Glick.
I think Bonnie Jr has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
