PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Freddie Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ultimate Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ultimate Warrior will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddie Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ultimate Warrior!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jordan gets the takedown into side control.
Warrior pushes Jordan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jordan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Warrior bucks up and tries to throw Jordan off but instead Jordan has got his back!
Warrior controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Jordan punishes Warrior with strikes from the back mount.
Jordan lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Jordan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Warrior is trying to get back to his feet but Jordan has full control of the position and if anything, Warrior has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Jordan stalks Warrior and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Warrior's face. Warrior staggers backwards, shaken.

Warrior wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jordan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
