Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robson Goes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan Sanders is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robson Goes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Sanders!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sanders napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Goes trying to control the action but Sanders is working from the bottom.
Goes looking to control but instead Sanders has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Goes not doing much here.

Goes decides to return to a standing position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanders is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Goes drives through with a takedown into guard.
Goes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Sanders working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Goes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Goes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Goes tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanders is retaining full guard.
Sanders preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Sanders looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Goes drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sanders looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sanders looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sanders!
Sanders lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Sanders lands an elbow.
Goes tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Sanders looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Sanders wants to control but Goes is keeping him busy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
An elbow from Sanders crashes against the mat.
Goes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sanders on the ground.
Goes tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Sanders advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanders landing shots from mount.
Goes tries to lock up and control but Sanders gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Sanders trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Sanders might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Goes kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Sanders has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Goes's face.
Sanders looking to control but Goes is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Goes tries to lock up and control but Sanders gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Goes is breathing heavily.
Sanders content just to control the position here.
Goes is trying desperately to improve position.
Sanders trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Sanders is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Sanders displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Goes.
Sanders tries to clinch up but Goes circles away and keeps his distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dan Sanders dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Sanders feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Sanders looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Goes keeping moving, preventing Sanders from controlling successfully.

Goes is looking for a triangle but Sanders pushes his legs off easily.
Sanders trying to control but Goes is working from the bottom.

Despite being in the dominant position, Dan Sanders just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sanders with a lazy takedown attempt

and Goes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sanders won't be happy with that.
Sanders tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Goes goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sanders has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Goes but great work by Sanders.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sanders tries for a kimura but Goes is defending well.
Goes is trying to get back to his feet.
Goes can't do much from the bottom here.

Sanders has an Americana. Goes didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sanders is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sanders hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
