Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Helio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henryk Walezy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Walezy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Walezy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.
Gracie throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walezy wants to stand but Gracie is controlling his posture from full guard.
Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Walezy stands and steps away. Gracie gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Walezy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gracie darts in and clinches Walezy up against the cage.
Walezy has picked Gracie up - he's going for a ride! Walezy dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Walezy seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Gracie is trying to get back to full guard.
Walezy escapes and gets back to his feet.

Walezy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Walezy trying to control the action but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Walezy decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gracie to his feet.
Walezy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Walezy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gracie's head.
Walezy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Walezy is trying to control. Gracie wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Walezy is just content to waste time from the top position. Gracie takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Walezy looking to sit in guard and control but Gracie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Walezy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Walezy throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Gracie works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Gracie misses with a takedown
and Walezy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gracie's guard.

Walezy has gone for a leg lock! Gracie slips out almost immediately though and dives into Walezy's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gracie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walezy.

Henryk Walezy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Gracie lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
I really don't envy Walezy right now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Walezy throws a strike but Gracie rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Walezy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Walezy is stalling in the full guard.
Gracie is looking for a triangle but Walezy pushes his legs off easily.
