Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sho Kazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faber comes into a darkened arena with his song building. m.o.v.e - around the world kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sho Kazuki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackson Faber! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kazuki misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice body kick from Faber. Kazuki waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Faber. Faber showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kazuki.
Kazuki throws a series of strikes that have Faber backpedaling.
Faber tries to bum rush Kazuki with a series of wild strikes but Kazuki uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kazuki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Faber moves away. Faber misses with a kick to the body.
Faber thows a body shot but no joy. Faber has closed the distance and engaged Kazuki in a clinch.
Faber lands a body punch in the clinch. Faber lands a knee to the body.
Kazuki is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Faber is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Faber lands a hook that snaps the head of Kazuki backwards. Faber has Kazuki pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kazuki manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. A bit of stalling here from Faber.

That's one minute gone in the round. Faber controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kazuki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Faber can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kazuki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Faber is one step ahead there. Faber is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kazuki is looking for a triangle but Faber pushes his legs off easily.
Faber wants to pass the guard but Kazuki is keeping the position. Faber seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Faber postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Faber stays in close to Kazuki's body and controls the position. Faber got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kazuki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Faber has managed to get both his arms back between Kazuki's legs - danger averted. Kazuki working for a triangle but Faber defends it easily.
Faber seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Kazuki has his foot on Faber's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Faber works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faber slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jackson Faber just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kazuki throws an overhand right that lands on Faber's shoulder, as Faber tries to avoid the shot. Kazuki avoids the head kick by Faber.
Kazuki misses with a wild body shot. Kazuki throws a left and a right that both miss
and Faber counters by moving into the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Faber. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Faber lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kazuki. Kazuki fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Faber lands a knee to the body.
Kazuki takes an elbow to the forehead. Faber manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A short left from Faber. Faber has picked Kazuki up - he's going for a ride! Faber dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Faber prevents Kazuki from improving his position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kazuki gets full guard. Kazuki keeping full guard, as Faber tries to pass. Faber got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kazuki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! and Faber counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Faber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Faber is thwarting Kazuki's attempts to control the position. Kazuki tries to get to full guard but Faber has control of the leg. Faber is looking for a kimura here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Faber with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kazuki is looking for a sweep. Faber is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Faber wants to pass to mount but Kazuki is defending the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kazuki lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kazuki. Kazuki misses with a two punch combination.

and Faber finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kazuki misses with a shot to the body and Faber counters by clinching up. Faber breaks from the clinch.
A combination from Kazuki does no damage. Faber digs a good body shot into Kazuki's ribs. Faber decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Faber is controlling the pace.
Kazuki is in trouble now - Faber has advanced to mount! Kazuki defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Faber. Kazuki is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Faber unloading with bombs! Faber looking to control and managing it successfully. Kazuki is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kazuki has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Faber really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Kazuki. Faber has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Kazuki tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Faber trying to control but Kazuki is having none of it. Kazuki sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Kazuki is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Faber's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Faber's back! Kazuki looking for the choke but no joy. Faber defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jackson Faber showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Kazuki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Faber moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kazuki throws a nice looking combination but Faber bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sho Kazuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kazuki misses with a double jab
and Faber counters with a solid body kick. Faber gets in close and instigates a clinch. Faber will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kazuki up against the cage. Kazuki tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd are getting on Faber's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. A body shot lands from Faber.

That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Faber lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kazuki or not. Faber gets a trip takedown into half guard. Faber stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Kazuki to get to his feet. Kazuki stuffs the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Faber looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Faber swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kazuki swings and misses with a shot to the body and Faber counters with a big head kick but Kazuki shrugs it off. Kazuki tries to bum rush Faber with a series of wild strikes but Faber uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sho Kazuki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Faber throws a head kick that half lands.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Faber bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Faber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kazuki. Faber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Faber looking to control and managing it successfully. Kazuki keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Faber looking to control and managing it successfully. Faber's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Kazuki is wriggling around trying to escape.
Faber tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jackson Faber is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kazuki really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Faber looking to control and managing it successfully. Kazuki wants to hold on but Faber pushes him away. Faber controlling the position easily from mount.

Sho Kazuki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Faber lands with a nice body punch. Kazuki takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
And that's the end of the fight! Jackson Faber comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Faber has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
