Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between yakubu andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Mozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mozzi thows a body shot but no joy.
Horrible takedown by andrews or perhaps it was just good defense by Mozzi which made him look bad.

andrews is trying to stall.
andrews wants to get back to striking at distance but Mozzi won't allow it.

Mozzi pulls guard.

Mozzi has his foot on andrews's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. andrews works his way back into a safe position though.

Mozzi has hold of one of andrews's legs. andrews is fighting the takedown attempt but Mozzi gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

andrews really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

andrews pushes Mozzi off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Mozzi stuffs the takedown attempt from andrews. andrews gets slowly back to his feet.

Mozzi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but andrews was well out of range. Poor timing from Mozzi.

Mozzi throws a right hand that andrews ducks under and follows up with a left that andrews also avoids with ease.
A slapping body kick lands there for andrews.
andrews tries for a takedown but Mozzi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ricardo Mozzi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
andrews is breathing heavily.
Mozzi tries to clinch up.
Mozzi throws a nice looking combination but andrews bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Mozzi lands a left and a right that send andrews crashing to the mat, dazed. Mozzi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

andrews is rocked!

Mozzi has closed the distance and engaged andrews in a clinch.
Oh andrews is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mozzi tightens his grip and picks andrews up, before dumping him to the ground. andrews manages to land in guard.

Mozzi stands and throws andrews's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Mozzi takes a little break here. andrews wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Let's hope that Mozzi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
andrews can't do much from the bottom here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mozzi stands up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mozzi darts in and clinches andrews up against the cage.
andrews drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mozzi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics andrews uses from the top position.
andrews wanted to stand there but Mozzi had control of the position.

andrews is sitting in close to Mozzi's body. Mozzi has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! andrews is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, andrews is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mozzi.
