Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lashley has chosen Ya Boy feat. Lil Wayne- Rain Man as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Marco Silva has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lashley swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva.

Silva clinches up with Lashley and pushes him back against the cage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lashley as he avoids it easily.

Silva is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lashley is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Silva to the mat. Silva regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Lashley counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lashley.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Lashley. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
