Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitri Kolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kolov comes to the cage accompanied by Killswitch Engage - Life to Lifeless. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dmitri Kolov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Manuel! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolov throws a shot from downtown. Manuel moves away and avoids it. A left and a right from Kolov both land. Nice combination. Manuel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kolov.
Kolov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Manuel.
Manuel is looking to clinch but Kolov is avoiding it.
Kolov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kolov throws a leg kick but Manuel sees it coming and checks it nicely. Kolov tries to clinch up but Manuel circles away and keeps his distance. Manuel tries to clinch but Kolov moves out of range. Kolov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kolov swinging wilding here.
Kolov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Manuel. Manuel takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolov throws a body punch but Manuel moves out of range. Kolov throws a series of punches but Manuel avoids them all with ease. Kolov misses the shot to the body. Manuel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Manuel swats away the attempt to clinch by Kolov. Kolov is looking to wear down Manuel with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Horrible takedown by Manuel or perhaps it was just good defense by Kolov which made him look bad. Manuel rushes Kolov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Manuel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Manuel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kolov's waist but Kolov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Manuel off to one side. Dmitri Kolov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Manuel. Kolov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kolov is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Manuel blocks a body shot from Kolov. Kolov pulls guard successfully.

Manuel throws a big right hand that misses. Manuel loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Manuel tries to free his leg and advance position but Kolov is retaining full guard. Manuel looks gassed! Kolov pulls Manuel in close to prevent any damage. Kolov wants to stand up but Manuel is controlling him.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Danga de danga de dang - Kolov scores with a four punch combination! A decent looking body kick lands there for Manuel. Manuel closes the distance but Kolov moves to the side and Kolov counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manuel breaks the clinch.

Manuel closes the distance and clinches. Manuel turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Manuel manages to end up in side control. Manuel stands up. Kolov throws a nice looking combination but Manuel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Manuel doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kolov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kolov manages to break the clinch.
Manuel blocks a jab. Manuel shoots and misses and Kolov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Manuel has closed the distance and engaged Kolov in a clinch.
Manuel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Manuel has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kolov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Manuel pulls his leg out and moves away.
Manuel looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolov is trying to maintain the position but Manuel is very close to passing his half guard. Manuel thows a huge punch but Kolov dodges it nicely.
Manuel trying to control the action but Kolov is working from the bottom. Kolov regains full guard. Nicely done. Manuel wants to pass the guard but Kolov is keeping the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kolov controls Manuel momentarily but Manuel frees himself. Manuel wants to pass the guard but Kolov is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dmitri Kolov will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kolov misses the shot to the body. Manuel is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Manuel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Manuel doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kolov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Manuel won't be happy with that. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Kolov working the head with strikes. Kolov lands a decent elbow from side control. Manuel is breathing heavily. Kolov controls the position. Kolov stands up and we're back to a striking position. Kolov misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolov tries to clinch up. Kolov gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kolov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Manuel backwards. Manuel avoiding damage.
Manuel drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kolov is leaning against Manuel and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Manuel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kolov smiles and moves away.
Kolov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Manuel tries to strike from the bottom.
Manuel can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kolov controls the pace. Kolov tries to stand but Manuel is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Manuel wants to sweep but no luck. Manuel had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kolov is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Manuel Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kolov's back instead. Manuel throwing wild punches that miss their target. Manuel has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Kolov! Can he survive? No! He's out! Manuel gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
