The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pacquiao throws a right and a left that both miss. Pacquiao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ellis moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pacquiao misses with a jab, cross combination.

Ellis throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ellis postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Ellis throwing strikes from guard but Pacquiao blocks nicely. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ellis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ellis is looking to work some ground and pound but Pacquiao has wrist control. Ellis postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ellis shoots in and bounces Pacquiao off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Pacquiao utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ellis makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ellis throws and elbow that misses. Pacquiao uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ellis's guard. Nice move by Pacquiao! Ellis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pacquiao is one step ahead there.
And that's the end of the fight! Andrew Ellis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ellis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
