Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paddie Ohallahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucian Stockes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucian Stockes will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paddie Ohallahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucian Stockes!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stockes lands a lovely overhand right.
Paddie Ohallahan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stockes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ohallahan has a takedown stuffed.
Ohallahan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Stockes ducks under a wild hook from Ohallahan.
A jab from Stockes misses.
Stockes throws a solid leg kick but Ohallahan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stockes.
A punch lands to the side of Ohallahan 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ohallahan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Stockes connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ohallahan tries to move into range but Stockes moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stockes slips a straight right by Ohallahan.
Stockes is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Stockes looks to land a combination but Ohallahan avoids it well.

Ohallahan has taken the fight to the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Ohallahan.

Ohallahan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ohallahan tries to land a front kick but Stockes steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A big left from Ohallahan misses.
Stockes lands with a hook. Ohallahan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Stockes misses with a few strikes there.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ohallahan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ohallahan misses with a jab, cross combination.

Ohallahan takes the fight into the clinch.

Stockes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stockes misses with a few strikes there.
Stockes blocks a jab.
Stockes looks to land a right hand but Ohallahan moved out of range.
Stockes lands a jab.
Ohallahan lands with a shot to the body.
Ohallahan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ohallahan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paddie Ohallahan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ohallahan, as that shot connected.
Ohallahan dips to his left and cracks Stockes with an uppercut!
An inside leg kick from Stockes misses.
Ohallahan avoids the body shot from Stockes.
Ohallahan fails with the takedown.
Ohallahan throws a nice head kick!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stockes slips a jab and a cross from Ohallahan.
Ohallahan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stockes in his tracks.
Lucian Stockes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A big right from Stockes misses.
Stockes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ohallahan dodges the punch combination from Stockes.
Ohallahan wants to clinch.
Ohallahan avoids a kick to the body.

Ohallahan shoots in and bounces Stockes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ohallahan looking to pass the guard.
Stockes tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stockes is looking to stand up but Ohallahan isn't so interested in that idea.
Ohallahan looking to sit in guard and control but Stockes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Ohallahan pushes Stockes off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Ohallahan needs to keep his hands up - Stockes had a free shot at his head there.
Stockes misses with a hook.
Stockes scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Ohallahan.
Ohallahan working away.
Stockes prevents Ohallahan from moving into mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Ohallahan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ohallahan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Stockes is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ohallahan is controlling him well.
Ohallahan misses with the ground and pound.
Stockes is trying to improve his position.
Ohallahan has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Stockes!
Stockes tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stockes sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Stockes looks gassed!

Ohallahan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Stockes is trying to maintain the position but Ohallahan is very close to passing his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lucian Stockes dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Stockes lands with a right hand.
Ohallahan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ohallahan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Stockes throws a lazy head kick

and Ohallahan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stockes won't be happy with that.

Ohallahan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Stockes looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ohallahan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Stockes is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ohallahan lets go of the hold and Stockes can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Paddie Ohallahan!
