Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Livramento!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leonidas Castro!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Livramento stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Livramento wants it to stay on the feet.
Castro shoots for a takedown but Livramento saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Livramento feints and as Castro raises his hands in defense, Livramento changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Livramento would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Livramento is working Castro over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Castro wants to get back to his feet but Livramento is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Castro controls Livramento momentarily but Livramento frees himself.
Castro wants to stand but Livramento is controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Livramento works over Castro with some ground and pound from guard.

Livramento stands up and waves to Castro to follow him.
Castro tries to clinch there but Livramento circles away.
Castro moves in looking to clinch but Livramento pushes him off.

Livramento decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Livramento missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Livramento wants to take a breather but Castro is having none of it.
Livramento has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Livramento prevents Castro from improving his position.

Livramento is working for a submission of some sort.

Livramento has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Castro defend it? Livramento steps over the head and cranks it - Castro is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Livramento!
