Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Justin Renton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Renton comes to the cage accompanied by Pinball Wizard. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Renton.
Yamamoto moves out of range of the body kick.
A head kick lands from Renton that sends Yamamoto to the canvas. Yamamoto tries to scramble back to his feet but Renton brings him back down into side control.
It looks like Lyoto Yamamoto has been cut.
Renton is trying to get an arm triangle but Yamamoto is defending well.

Renton has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Yamamoto uses from the top position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Renton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yamamoto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Renton is breathing heavily.
Renton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yamamoto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yamamoto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Renton is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Yamamoto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Renton - the referee stops the clock and Yamamoto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Renton. Yamamoto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Renton! Yamamoto is out on his feet! Renton rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Yamamoto is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Yamamoto is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
