Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Remose A!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Pulver!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A throws a series of punches but Pulver moves out of range.
A throws a series of punches but Pulver moves out of range.
A takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A throws a right and a left that both miss.
A throws a series of punches but Pulver avoids them all with ease.
A jab from A misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Pulver.
A throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pulver moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A is looking to clinch but Pulver is avoiding it.
Remose A seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pulver throws a head kick but A moves out of range.
A works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pulver shoots in but no luck this time.
A tries to close the distance and clinch but Pulver swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pulver swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pulver shoots in looking for a takedown. A tries to sprawl out of it but Pulver keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. A manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Remose A is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pulver uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from A.
A waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Pulver.
A swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pulver takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A tries to clinch up.
A misses with the combination.
Pulver showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from A.
Nice takedown defense from A. No joy for Pulver on that attempt.
Remose A has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Pulver.

Pulver closes the distance and clinches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A is trying to force a seperation but Pulver has the dominant position.

A breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pulver blocks a jab.
A throws a nice looking combination but Pulver bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pulver slips a jab from A.
A tries to bum rush Pulver with a series of wild strikes but Pulver uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A is breathing heavily.
A swings away with a body shot that misses

and Pulver decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in A's guard.
Pulver missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Pulver is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Pulver passes easily into side control. Nice work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pulver throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Pulver is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. A is trying to escape and Pulver transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and A is forced to tap! Nice work there by Pulver! Very nice indeed!
