Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alessandro de Ferro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastian Schweinsteiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). de Ferro comes to the cage accompanied by CMX - Ruoste. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bastian Schweinsteiger!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schweinsteiger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
de Ferro tries to buck Schweinsteiger off but Schweinsteiger is having none of it.
Schweinsteiger stands up.
Schweinsteiger takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
de Ferro thows a left - swing and a miss!
de Ferro tries a low kick but Schweinsteiger avoids it.
de Ferro throws a hook but Schweinsteiger blocks it.
Schweinsteiger keeps the fight on the outside.
Schweinsteiger moves out of range as de Ferro strikes.
Some wild striking there from de Ferro.
de Ferro looks to land a left hand but Schweinsteiger moved out of range nicely.
Schweinsteiger throws a lazy right hand but de Ferro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
de Ferro shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Schweinsteiger manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
de Ferro tries to free his leg and advance position but Schweinsteiger is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
de Ferro trying to control the position from guard on top but Schweinsteiger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
de Ferro advances position into side control!
Schweinsteiger tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Schweinsteiger tries to escape but de Ferro is in control.
de Ferro working the ground and pound but Schweinsteiger is defending the strikes.
Schweinsteiger throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
A jab lands there for de Ferro.
Schweinsteiger looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
de Ferro pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Good exchange - de Ferro coming out on top.
de Ferro feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Schweinsteiger's calf.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
de Ferro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schweinsteiger circles away quickly and effectively.
de Ferro connects with the punch.
Schweinsteiger is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! de Ferro ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Schweinsteiger clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
