Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Swager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee Swager has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Swager!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallace gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Wallace gets control of Swager's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wallace will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Wallace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Swager gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Swager wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving.

Swager thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Swager stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Swager wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving.
Swager really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wallace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wallace pushes Swager off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Wallace is breathing heavily.
Wallace misses with a double jab.

Swager throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Swager doesn't manage to clinch there - Wallace circles away.
Swager misses with a wild combination.
Wallace avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Swager fails with a takedown attempt.
Wallace throws a left and a right that both miss

and Swager counters by clinching up.

Swager manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Wallace trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Swager wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Swager had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Wallace is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Swager Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Wallace's back instead.
Wallace grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Swager scores with punches from the back.

You can see the frustration on Wallace's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
A lull in the action here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Swager lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Swager tightening his grip on Wallace, looking for the choke.
Wallace is really stuck here.

Wallace manages to reverse the position and now he's in Swager's guard. Nice work there by Wallace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Swager keeping full guard, as Wallace tries to pass.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Swager tries to clinch up

and Wallace counters with a takedown into side control.
Swager tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Swager is wriggling around trying to escape.

Wallace stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Wallace wants to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wallace throws a hook to the side of Swager's head but Swager sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Swager rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wallace moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Swager fails in his attempt to clinch.
Swager is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wallace decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wallace moves nicely into side control.

Wallace tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wallace has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Wallace advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adam Wallace dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Wallace shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wallace passes to side control.
Swager is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wallace off and has taken his back!
Wallace is trying to get back to his feet but Swager has full control of the position and if anything, Wallace has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Wallace is keeping busy.
Wallace rolls, trying to escape but Swager keeps control of the position.
Wallace is trying to stand back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Swager lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Wallace tries to escape the position.
Wallace is trapped and Swager is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Wallace is really stuck here.
Wallace has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Swager connects with a big shot to the side of Wallace's head.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Wallace trying to get back to his feet but Swager is in full control for now.

Swager looking for the choke from the back.
Wallace tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Wallace regains half guard.

Swager is looking for a kimura but Wallace is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Swager to get the leverage.
Wallace is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Swager scores with a couple of nice shots.
Wallace is trying to stand back up but Swager is controlling him
Swager is keen to just control but Wallace is a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wallace wants to get back to his feet.
Wallace is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Swager's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Swager's back!
Swager tries to escape but Wallace has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Wallace is not going to allow Swager to sit and survive in this position.
Adam Wallace overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wallace is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Swager won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Wallace off his unconscious opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Adam Wallace!
