Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ultimate Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warrior kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Coal Chamber-Loco. Miller has chosen Drowning Pool - Step Up as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ultimate Warrior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Miller! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller throws a right and a left that both miss. Miller is trying hard to land a takedown here. Warrior sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Warrior tries to clinch but Miller moves out of range. Miller just misses with a punch to the body.
Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Warrior which made him look bad. Warrior shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Warrior was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Warrior takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Miller is trying to reverse the position but instead Warrior has taken his back - oops! Warrior is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Warrior is looking to control Miller but Miller is wriggling around and keeping busy. Good control from Warrior.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warrior struggling to keep hold of the position.
Miller has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Miller tries to escape but Warrior has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Miller is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Warrior controlling from the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. You can see the frustration on Miller's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Miller is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Warrior.
Miller is trying to get back to his feet but Warrior has full control of the position and if anything, Miller has just worked his way into a worse spot. Miller looks gassed! Warrior scores with strikes from the back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Warrior is persistently looking for the submission but Miller is defending it well.
Warrior lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Warrior.
That's three minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Miller right now.
Warrior tries to keep control of the position but Miller is staying busy. Warrior gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Warrior is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Miller defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Miller looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Miller manages to escape to his feet. Miller darts in trying to clinch and Warrior counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Warrior throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Miller breaks the clinch.
Warrior fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the cage. Miller can't break the clinch.
Miller drops down looking for an ankle pick but Warrior pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ultimate Warrior has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Miller. Miller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Warrior gets a takedown into half guard. Warrior is keen to just control but Miller is a slippery customer. Warrior lands with a punch from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ultimate Warrior dominated that round. That's time! Warrior's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Warrior fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Warrior has his takedown stuffed and Miller counters by clinching up. Miller throws a punch but it's blocked by Warrior. Miller throws a head punch that misses. Warrior drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ultimate Warrior. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miller swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Miller working hard to break the clinch. Miller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Warrior escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dave Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A decent looking body kick lands there for Miller. Warrior fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Miller slaps away a takedown attempt from Warrior, before circling back to the center of the mat. Miller tries to work over Warrior's front leg with a kick but Warrior checks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller gets caught flat footed, as Warrior shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Miller striking from the bottom.
Miller is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Miller scrambles and gets back to his feet.

and Warrior counters with a shoot takedown. Miller fights it but they end up in guard. Warrior looking to pass the guard. Miller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Warrior is controlling him. Miller scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Warrior to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller keeping moving, preventing Warrior from controlling successfully. Miller working a defensive guard here.
Miller doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Ultimate Warrior overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Warrior seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Miller throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller wants to stand but Warrior is controlling the position. Miller is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Miller keeping moving, preventing Warrior from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Miller falls off balance throwing a combination
and Warrior decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Miller's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Warrior trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Warrior landing with the ground and pound. Miller keeping moving, preventing Warrior from controlling successfully. Miller has momentary wrist control but Warrior slips an elbow through the middle.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Warrior misses with a takedown attempt and Miller counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Miller. This has been an exciting period of action! Warrior not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ultimate Warrior will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Warrior is defended easily by Miller. Miller has his takedown stuffed and Warrior counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Miller pushes Warrior off and gets back to his feet.
Warrior shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Miller's guard. Miller wants to stand up but Warrior is controlling him. Warrior not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Warrior advances position into side control! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller is looking to regain half guard here but Warrior keeps moving and retains side control. Warrior wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy. Warrior stands up and we're back to a striking position. Miller swings for the body but Warrior moves out of range.
Warrior drives through with a takedown into guard. Warrior wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. Warrior prevents Miller from getting back to his feet. Miller wants to control the position but Warrior says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Warrior is working Miller over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Warrior scores with a crisp jab that stopped Miller in his tracks. Excellent takedown into side control there by Warrior. Miller manages to get back to half guard. Warrior wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy. Miller kicks off Warrior and gets to his feet. Miller looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Miller is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miller throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Warrior moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Miller connects with a couple of short punches.
And that's the end of the fight! Ultimate Warrior showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Warrior, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
