Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Spinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hok Chook Homaychonk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Homaychonk moves into range and clinches up with Spinner. Homaychonk working Spinner over with knees to the body. Homaychonk tries a knee to the head but Spinner blocks it.
Homaychonk lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Spinner tries to pull guard but Homaychonk holds him up against the cage and eventually Spinner drops back down to his feet.
Spinner goes for a takedown in the clinch but Homaychonk prevents it.
Homaychonk lands a body shot in the clinch.
Spinner is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Homaychonk can't fight it off and eventually Spinner manages to take the fight to the floor. Homaychonk looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Spinner throwing strikes from guard but Homaychonk blocks nicely. Spinner drops back looking for a leg! Homaychonk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Homaychonk manages to kick Spinner off! Spinner jumps back into Homaychonk's guard. Spinner sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Homaychonk's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spinner works his way into side control. Homaychonk being controlled for a moment. Spinner wants to control but Homaychonk is keeping him busy. Spinner is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Homaychonk knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Spinner tries to advance to mount but Homaychonk instead regains half guard. Spinner is stalling here. Homaychonk is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Spinner seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Homaychonk has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Homaychonk working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spinner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Homaychonk wants to stand but Spinner is controlling his arm. Spinner struggling a bit here. Spinner is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Spinner shoots in looking for a takedown. Homaychonk tries to sprawl out of it but Spinner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Homaychonk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Spinner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Spinner tries to clinch but Homaychonk is having none of it. Matt Spinner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Homaychonk has managed to clinch.

Spinner drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Homaychonk gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Homaychonk misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Spinner.
Spinner blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Spinner jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Homaychonk walks away with a smile on his face. Spinner gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Spinner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Homaychonk looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Spinner tries to clinch but Homaychonk moves away and Homaychonk counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Homaychonk. Spinner tries for a takedown. No joy.
Spinner blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Spinner tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Homaychonk just stands there and leans against the cage. Spinner pulls guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Spinner holds on and takes a little breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Matt Spinner will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Homaychonk misses with a head kick.
Spinner moves in looking to clinch but Homaychonk pushes him off. Homaychonk circles away from the clinch attempt.
Spinner tries to close the distance and clinch but Homaychonk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Spinner shoots in for a double leg but Homaychonk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Spinner moves into range and clinches up with Homaychonk. Spinner changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Homaychonk fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Homaychonk throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Spinner walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Homaychonk swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
