Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rampage Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rampage Jackson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Steve! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rampage Jackson! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steve scores a takedown into full mount! Jackson is looking to improve his position but Steve isn't that keen on the idea. Steve could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jackson tries to hold on but Steve postures up. Steve wants to control the pace but Jackson is squirming around nicely. Jackson tries to hold on but Steve pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Jackson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jackson tries to improve his position but instead Steve has taken his back! Steve doesn't have the hooks in and Jackson manages to turn into his guard.
Jackson wants to pass the guard but Steve is keeping the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jackson swinging wilding here.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steve paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jackson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Steve counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson trying to hold on to Steve's head to control him but Steve postures up.
Steve is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work. Jackson is trying to stand back up but Steve is controlling him
Jackson looks gassed! Steve is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jackson is just riding it out for now. Steve eventually gives up the hold.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson tries to roll over but Steve keeps him under control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth. Jackson makes his way to full guard, as Steve worked for a kimura.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson is trying to keep Steve in close.
Steve stands up from guard. Let's bang! Jackson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Steve defends it nicely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Steve fails with the takedown and Jackson counters with an inside leg kick. Steve scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Steve dominated that round. That's time! Steve's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jackson fails in his attempt to clinch. Jackson moves into the clinch. Steve is trying to drag Jackson to the mat but Jackson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jackson lands a nice shot that snaps Steve's head back.
Jackson shoots and misses and Steve counters with a single leg into guard. Jackson didn't expect that. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Steve from controlling successfully. Steve drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jackson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Steve has Jackson in his guard. Jackson landing some decent shots from guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steve throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Steve keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steve looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jackson trying to control but Steve is working from the bottom. Jackson wants to stand and escape but instead Steve has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Steve prevents Jackson from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steve postures up.
Steve wants to stand but Jackson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Jackson trying to control the position.
Jackson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Steve kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Steve has his takedown stuffed and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch. Jackson can't break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Steve gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jackson.
Jackson tries to circle away but Steve has him pinned against the cage. Jackson is trying to break the clinch but Steve has him pressed against the cage. Steve breaks the clinch.
Steve has his takedown stuffed and Jackson counters with a shoot takedown. Steve fights it but they end up in guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Steve. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Steve is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Steve keeping full guard, as Jackson tries to pass. Steve bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jackson's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Rampage Jackson will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Steve gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jackson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Steve tries to keep at a distance but Jackson has taken the fight into the clinch. Jackson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jackson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Steve is one step ahead there. Steve trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steve shoots in and bounces Jackson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Steve is looking to stand up but Jackson won't let him. Steve drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jackson dives on top into guard. Steve keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steve is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackson is aware though and is defending well. Steve seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Steve might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackson looking to pass the guard. Steve looking for a guillotine here but Jackson defends easily.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Steve keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steve is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. Jackson is fighting to break Steve's control of his arms but Steve is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Jackson advances to half guard. Steve tries to kick Jackson off in order to stand up. Jackson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Steve is not content to let Jackson control the position. Jackson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Steve has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jackson but great work by Steve.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jackson is trying to get back to half guard. Jackson struggling a bit here. Jackson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Steve's best efforts. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Rampage Jackson. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
