Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mord Atlas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Thiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thiago is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I made it. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atlas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thiago swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Thiago keeps the fight on the outside.
Thiago misses with a jab, cross combination.
Thiago is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Atlas.

Thiago drives through and clinches with Atlas against the cage.
Atlas working hard to break the clinch.
Atlas is trying to break the clinch but Thiago has him pressed against the cage.
Atlas tries to circle away but Thiago has him pinned against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Atlas breaks the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Atlas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Atlas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Thiago counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Thiago.
Atlas is trying to force a seperation but Thiago has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Atlas has had enough of the clinch but Thiago keeps him there for the moment.
Atlas wants to break free but Thiago has control.

Thiago pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Thiago looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Atlas is fending him off so far but Thiago persists. Nope, Atlas circles away and we're back to standing.
Atlas avoids a punch combination nicely.
Atlas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Thiago counters by moving into the clinch.
Thiago scores with a shot to the side of Atlas's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Atlas is trying to break the clinch but Thiago is controlling him.
Atlas wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Thiago escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thiago is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Atlas.

It looks like Antonio Thiago has been cut.
A head kick misses from Thiago.
Atlas throws a combination that misses
and Atlas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Atlas misses with a double jab

and Thiago counters with a nice double leg into side control. Atlas won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Thiago decides to stand back up. Thiago steps back and let's Atlas get back to his feet.
Atlas throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thiago counters with a big head kick but Atlas shrugs it off.
Atlas is breathing heavily.
Atlas tries to clinch but Thiago moves away
and Thiago counters with a series of strikes. Atlas will be more careful next time no doubt.

Atlas is rocked!
Mord Atlas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Oh Atlas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Thiago lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Atlas circles away quickly and effectively.
