Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hitoshi Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitoshi Masaru has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hitoshi Masaru! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mason Redman! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Redman misses. Redman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Masaru closes the distance and clinches up with Redman, looking for a takedown. Masaru pushes Redman against the cage but Redman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Redman shoots and misses and Masaru counters with a single leg into guard. Redman didn't expect that. Masaru stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Redman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Masaru will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Redman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Masaru avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Redman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Masaru. Redman looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Masaru has picked Redman up and slammed him! Redman can't keep hold of the triangle and Masaru manages to pass to side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Masaru is looking to take a break and control but Redman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Masaru lands an elbow. Masaru in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Redman is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
