Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ingmar Jyrgens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Sanderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ingmar Jyrgens! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jyrgens feints and as Sanderson raises his hands in defense, Jyrgens changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jyrgens wants to stand and escape but instead Sanderson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Jyrgens is trying to control the position but Sanderson postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jyrgens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sanderson drops back looking for a leg! Jyrgens is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jyrgens manages to kick Sanderson off! Sanderson jumps back into Jyrgens's guard. Sanderson trying to control but Jyrgens is working from the bottom. Jyrgens wants to stand and escape but Sanderson is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jyrgens shoots in but Sanderson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jyrgens shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sanderson as he avoids it easily. Jyrgens shoots in but no luck this time. Michael Sanderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ingmar Jyrgens. Sanderson throws a lazy right hand but Jyrgens sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jyrgens bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jyrgens shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sanderson as he jumps to the side. Jyrgens looks gassed! Jyrgens throws a nice looking combination but Sanderson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sanderson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sanderson advances to full mount. BOOM! Sanderson connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jyrgens takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Sanderson has hold of Jyrgens's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jyrgens manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Sanderson lands with some strikes. Sanderson looking to control and managing it successfully. Jyrgens is squirming around, avoiding Sanderson's attempts to control the action. Sanderson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sanderson is in the full mount, landing strikes. Jyrgens is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Sanderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sanderson looking to control but Jyrgens is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Jyrgens is trying to escape the mount.
Sanderson misses with a head shot. Sanderson is going olschool here, as he tries to force Jyrgens to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jyrgens shrugs it off. Jyrgens is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sanderson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Jyrgens keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Jyrgens doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sanderson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sanderson is trying to control. Jyrgens wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Jyrgens is looking to improve his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jyrgens scores with a hook to the body. Sanderson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Jyrgens tries to clinch there but Sanderson circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanderson cracks Jyrgens with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jyrgens is squirming around, avoiding Sanderson's attempts to control the action. Jyrgens tries to hold on but Sanderson postures up. Sanderson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jyrgens's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanderson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Jyrgens because Sanderson loaded up on that one. Sanderson trying to control but Jyrgens is having none of it. Jyrgens in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Jyrgens can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sanderson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Sanderson looking to control but Jyrgens is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sanderson with a couple of short strikes. Jyrgens tries to lock up and control but Sanderson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sanderson scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Jyrgens is squirming around, avoiding Sanderson's attempts to control the action. Sanderson thowing shots but they're missing. Sanderson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jyrgens has worked his arm free - good work by Jyrgens!

Jyrgens steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sanderson. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jyrgens lands with a nice combination. Sanderson backs away looking to recover. Jyrgens moves into range and clinches up with Sanderson. Jyrgens manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Ingmar Jyrgens has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Michael Sanderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jyrgens throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Sanderson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sanderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
