Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rijhard Noobsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Broph!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broph just misses with a punch to the body.
Noobsen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Broph circles away.
Broph looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Noobsen fails with the takedown.
Noobsen moves out of range as Broph strikes.
Broph scores with a hook.


It looks like Rijhard Noobsen has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Noobsen.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rijhard Noobsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Broph shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Broph was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Noobsen shoots and misses

and Broph counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Broph is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Noobsen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Broph.

Noobsen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Broph pulls his head out easily.
Broph working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Noobsen actively working from the bottom here.

Broph stands up out of the half guard.
Broph is looking to chop away at Noobsen's legs.

Noobsen misses with a takedown
and Broph counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Noobsen is breathing heavily.
Noobsen dodges the punch combination from Broph.
Broph lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Noobsen circles away quickly and effectively.

Broph shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Noobsen napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Noobsen is trying to get back to half guard.

Noobsen regains half guard.
Broph is nestled in close to Noobsen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Broph is looking for a kimura but Noobsen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Broph to get the leverage.

Broph escapes and gets back to his feet.

Broph clinches up against the cage.

Broph's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Broph clinches up with Noobsen and pushes him back against the cage.

Broph manages to break the clinch.
Broph throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Noobsen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Broph counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Broph scores with a jab. Noobsen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Broph scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Noobsen struggling a bit here.

Broph working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
You can see the frustration on Noobsen's face as Broph controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Craig Broph dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rijhard Noobsen's cut.
That's time! Noobsen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Noobsen ducks right into an uppercut from Broph.
Broph throws a nice looking combination but Noobsen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A slow jab from Broph misses its intended target.
Noobsen with a poor takedown
and Broph counters with a left and a right that stings Noobsen.
Broph misses with a wild body shot.
Rijhard Noobsen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Noobsen misses with a head kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Noobsen has his takedown stuffed
and Broph counters with a nice kick to the body.

Broph bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Noobsen's head backwards.

Broph drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Broph sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Broph lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Broph is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Broph passes Noobsen's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Broph is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Noobsen defends it well.
Craig Broph has got the better of the ground game so far.

Broph has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Noobsen defend it? Broph steps over the head and cranks it - Noobsen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Broph!
