Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Kirkovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Baptista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirkovich comes to the cage accompanied by Crazy Autotune. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baptista just misses with a punch to the body.
Kirkovich keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Baptista.
Kirkovich shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Kirkovich counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Kirkovich wants to pass the guard but Baptista is keeping the position.
Baptista keeping moving, preventing Kirkovich from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kirkovich drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kirkovich jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Baptista is not content to let Kirkovich control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Baptista has left one of his arms exposed and Kirkovich doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Baptista screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
