Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aiden Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawkins jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A chopping leg kick lands by Dawkins.
Wells throws a looping overhand right but Dawkins ducks down to avoid it.
Dawkins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wells manages to avoid it.
Wells thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wells takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Aiden Wells has been cut.
Wells misses with a wild combination.
Dawkins lands a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wells throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dawkins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wells throws out the jab.
An inside leg kick lands from Dawkins.
Dawkins takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Dawkins doesn't manage to clinch there - Wells circles away.
Wells misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Dawkins counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dawkins lands a left and a right that send Wells crashing to the mat, dazed. Dawkins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Tim Dawkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wells looks gassed!
Dawkins will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dawkins clobbers Wells with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dawkins tries to clinch up.
Wells misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wells misses with a two punch combination.
Wells avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dawkins just misses with a punch to the body.
Dawkins sizes up Wells with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Wells misses with an uppercut.
Dawkins throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dawkins misses with a few strikes there.
Dawkins is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Dawkins falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wells counters with a straight right hand.
Wells looks to throw the jab but Dawkins is out of range.
A nice combination there by Dawkins.
That has opened up Aiden Wells's cut even more.
Dawkins tries to clinch but Wells moves out of range.
Dawkins scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wells takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dawkins rushes Wells and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wells takes a knee right on the jaw!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wells jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dawkins walks away with a smile on his face. Wells gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wells avoids a punch combination nicely.
A nice combination there by Dawkins.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dawkins scores with a head kick.
The cut above Aiden Wells's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Dawkins lands a nice shot that snaps Wells's head back.
Wells is rocked!
Dawkins cracks Wells with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dawkins has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wells to stand back up!
Wells is still on wobbly legs! Can Dawkins finish him?
Dawkins closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Wells! Dawkins dives in looking to finish! Wells is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tim Dawkins!
