Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eero Elo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pung Rundgung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rundgung comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bullsonparade kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pung Rundgung has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elo throws out a loose jab but Rundgung uses good head movement to avoid it.
Elo tries to clinch there but Rundgung circles away.
Elo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Elo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rundgung is trying to get back to half guard.

Elo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Elo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rundgung to his feet.

and Elo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rundgung fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Elo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Rundgung shoots in but no luck this time.
Eero Elo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pung Rundgung.

Elo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rundgung looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Elo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rundgung to the mat! Rundgung manages to get full guard.
Elo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Rundgung has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Elo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rundgung.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Elo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
