Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bobert Jessifer!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Car misses with an uppercut. Jessifer saw that one coming.
Car tries to close the distance and clinch but Jessifer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Car throws a head kick that misses.
Jessifer tries for a takedown but Car sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jessifer moves into the clinch.
Car breaks from the clinch.
Jessifer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Car's guard.
Car wants to stand but Jessifer is controlling the position.
Car is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Car looking for subs off his back but Jessifer has passed one foot through into half guard.
Jessifer wants to work for an arm triangle but Car is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Jessifer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Car manages to get to full guard.
Jessifer stops Car from standing up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jessifer passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Car tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jessifer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jessifer is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Car has escaped the position, nice work there.
Car trying to remain calm as Jessifer controls from the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jessifer looks gassed!

Car manages to get back to half guard.
Car pushes Jessifer off but Jessifer dives into side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Car wants to get back to his feet but Jessifer drags him back down.
Jessifer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Car tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jessifer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Car is trying to control Jessifer's posture but Jessifer avoids it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Car closes the distance but Jessifer moves to the side
and Jessifer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jessifer.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Car tries to clinch up.
Jessifer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Car pinned against the cage. Car gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Car takes the fight into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Car connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Bobert Jessifer has been cut.
Car throws a knee to the head but misses.
Car taking a breather.
Car manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Car stalks Jessifer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jessifer's face. Jessifer staggers backwards, shaken.
Jessifer throws a solid leg kick but Car takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jessifer.
Jure Car is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Car gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jessifer is breathing heavily.
Car breaks from the clinch.
Car drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Car tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Car has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Jessifer manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Jessifer throwing shots but Car is blocking nicely.
Car wants to get back to his feet.
Jessifer is trying to control. Car wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Car kicks Jessifer off and gets back to his feet.
Car throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Car takes the fight into the clinch.
Car breaks from the clinch.
Jessifer scores with a takedown into Car's guard.
Car keeping moving, preventing Jessifer from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jessifer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jessifer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Car works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Car looking for a guillotine here but Jessifer defends easily.
Car looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Car is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jessifer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Car swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Car is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jessifer throws a hook but Car blocks it.

The cut man is working on Bobert Jessifer's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Jessifer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Car is fending him off so far but Jessifer persists. Nope, Car circles away and we're back to standing.
Jessifer dives in and grabs Car's left leg, looking for a takedown. Car pushes down on Jessifer's head and hops out.
Car has his takedown stuffed
and Jessifer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jessifer wants to control from the top but Car keeps moving.
Car is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bobert Jessifer has got the better of the ground game so far.
Car wants to stand up but Jessifer is controlling the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Car throwing shots but Jessifer is blocking nicely.
Car tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jessifer controls his leg.
Car sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jessifer defending well though.
Jessifer is staying active underneath Car, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Car wants to stand up but Jessifer is controlling the position.
Jessifer is trying to maintain the position but Car is very close to passing his half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Car moves in looking to clinch but Jessifer pushes him off.
Car connects with a high kick.
Jessifer shoots in for a takedown but Car shows good takedown defense.
Jure Car has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobert Jessifer.
Car looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jessifer trying to control from the bottom.
Car postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Jessifer to stand up.
Car looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jessifer closes the distance and clinches.
Car tries to pull guard but Jessifer won't allow it.

Car has Jessifer pressed against the cage, preventing Jessifer from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Come on Car - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Jessifer has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Car avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Car jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jessifer walks away with a smile on his face. Car gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A head kick from Car lands but Jessifer takes it in his stride.
Jessifer gets a takedown into half guard.
Jessifer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Car has one foot on Jessifer's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Car keeps the fight on the outside.
A good leg kick by Car.
Car pushes Jessifer up against the cage in a clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Car.
Car breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Car throws a combination. Jessifer tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jessifer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Car sprawls well. Car wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jessifer gets slowly back to his feet.
Jessifer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Car swivels and escapes.
Car stuffs the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jure Car.
I think Car has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
