Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy tries to clinch but Hortiz moves out of range.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!

Hardy tries to keep at a distance but Hortiz has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hardy looking to throw knees to the head but Hortiz is blocking nicely.
Hardy is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hortiz is keeping busy.
Hortiz prevents Hardy from breaking the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Hardy wants to get back to striking at distance but Hortiz won't allow it.
Hortiz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hardy fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Hortiz is looking to advance position but Hardy has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Hardy throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hortiz because Hardy loaded up on that one.

Hardy doesn't have the hooks in and Hortiz manages to turn into his guard.
Hortiz postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hortiz slips nicely into half guard.
Hortiz is thwarting Hardy's attempts to control the position.

Hortiz is looking for a kimura but Hardy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hortiz to get the leverage.
Hardy looks like he's trying to stand up.

Hardy is looking to get back to is feet but Hortiz passes into side control.
Hardy pushes Hortiz away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hortiz gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hardy can't do much from the bottom here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Hortiz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hardy won't be happy with that.

Hortiz has an Americana. Hardy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hortiz is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hortiz hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
