Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bravo has chosen timbuktu as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Kerr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Bravo! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bravo scores a takedown into full mount! Kerr slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Kerr wants to improve his position but Bravo is controlling well.
Bravo is pressing down on Kerr's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kerr is holding on for now. Bravo is looking for a kimura but Kerr is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bravo to get the leverage. Kerr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bravo on the ground. Bravo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kerr trying to control from the bottom.
Bravo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bravo is looking to advance position but Kerr won't allow it. Bravo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bravo working for a submission but Kerr is keeping him at bay. Kerr wants to hold on but Bravo pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bravo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Kerr flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Bravo trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bravo has hold of Kerr's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kerr manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kerr really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kerr is trying to stand up. Kerr in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Kerr regains half guard. Kerr wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kerr throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Bravo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bravo looks gassed! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kerr regains full guard. Nicely done. Kerr keeping moving, preventing Bravo from controlling successfully. Kerr keeping full guard, as Bravo tries to pass. Kerr not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kerr looking for a guillotine here but Bravo defends easily.
Bravo tries to free his leg and advance position but Kerr is retaining full guard. Bravo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kerr looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kerr looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kerr!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerr has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kerr with a lazy takedown attempt and Bravo counters with a shoot takedown. Kerr fights it but they end up in guard. Bravo trying to control the position from guard on top but Kerr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bravo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bravo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bravo passes Kerr's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bravo moves nicely into side control. Kerr is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bravo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bravo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bravo advances to full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kerr tries to hold on but Bravo pushes him away. Bravo landing strikes, looking to finish! Bravo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kerr is looking to escape. Bravo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kerr has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bravo has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Kerr is forced to tap!
