Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gary Hudson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Larkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hudson comes into the arena with Roll Over DJ blaring out of the sound system. Larkin has chosen I'm Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music. Ryan Larkin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larkin lands an overhand right.
Hudson is looking to clinch but Larkin is avoiding it.
Jab from Hudson.
Hudson avoids the body shot from Larkin.
Hudson misses with a body shot.
Larkin lands a head shot.
Hudson lands a high kick!
Hudson looks to land a combination but Larkin avoids it well.
Larkin cracks Hudson with a good jab.
Larkin lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Larkin jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Hudson looks to throw the jab but Larkin is out of range.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Larkin, as that shot connected.

and Larkin counters with a left to the body.
Larkin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gary Hudson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Larkin takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Hudson misses with a jab to the body
and Larkin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hudson is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
No joy there for Larkin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Larkin scores with a one two! Hudson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Larkin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hudson tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Hudson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hudson is rocked!
Hudson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hudson throws a combination that misses
enabling Larkin to counter with a crisp jab.
Oh Hudson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Larkin sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Hudson's defenses. It connects perfectly with Hudson's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
