Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sampsa Pikari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bapit Pradchapet! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pikari throws a shot from downtown. Pradchapet moves away and avoids it. Pikari throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pradchapet throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pradchapet throws a head kick but Pikari moves out of range.
Pradchapet throws a leg kick but Pikari moved away. Pikari lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Pikari lands a lovely overhand right. Pikari throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pradchapet moves out of range as Pikari strikes. Pradchapet throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pradchapet throws a sloppy head kick and Pikari moves out of range easily. Pradchapet goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Pradchapet throws a sloppy head kick and Pikari moves out of range easily. Pradchapet throws a jab but it's blocked by Pikari. Pradchapet is looking to score with low kicks. Pikari ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Pradchapet slips under a jab. Pikari scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Pradchapet tries a head kick but it misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pikari looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Pikari works a leg free and moves into half guard. Pikari stops Pradchapet from getting back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pradchapet can do anything to dispel that myth. Pikari is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Pikari is going olschool here, as he tries to force Pradchapet to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pradchapet shrugs it off. Pradchapet is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Pikari pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! You get the feeling that Pradchapet really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pikari has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pradchapet's face.
Pikari working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Pradchapet turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Pikari off and cradles Pradchapet's limp body as Pikari celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Sampsa Pikari!
