And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruas shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ruas was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ruas is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rich can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Rich is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Rich knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ruas on the ground.
Rich wants to control but Ruas is having none of it.
