Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Appleby cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
BOOM! Appleby connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Appleby stands up from mount. Strange move.
Larson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Larson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Appleby.
Appleby wants to clinch up but Larson keeps it at a distance.

The fight stays on the outside here - Larson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Larson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Appleby counters with a straight right hand.

so Appleby counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Well Appleby has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
