The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy shoots in looking for a takedown. Hawkwoods tries to sprawl out of it but Murphy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hawkwoods manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Murphy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hawkwoods doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hawkwoods manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hawkwoods looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Murphy is defending well. Hawkwoods quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Murphy has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hawkwoods celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
