Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei AxeMurderer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mir Jnr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir Jnr forces AxeMurderer back against the cage and clinches.
Mir Jnr is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. AxeMurderer can't fight it off and eventually Mir Jnr manages to take the fight to the floor. AxeMurderer looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

AxeMurderer has gone for a leg lock! Mir Jnr slips out almost immediately though and dives into AxeMurderer's guard.

AxeMurderer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mir Jnr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now AxeMurderer is on top in guard.
Mir Jnr throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
