Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luke Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tyler jackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. tyler jackman has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
jackman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Liddell clinches but jackman breaks the clinch
and jackman counters with a left and a right that stings Liddell.
jackman shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Liddell is breathing heavily.
jackman is taking a breather. Liddell says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Liddell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Liddell won't allow jackman to pass to mount.
jackman is keen to just control but Liddell is a slippery customer.
jackman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

jackman wants to control but Liddell is keeping him busy.

jackman takes a little break here. Liddell wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Liddell is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Liddell is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Liddell wants to control but jackman is having none of it.
jackman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Liddell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but jackman has him pressed against the cage.

jackman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Liddell but Liddell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
jackman wants to clinch.
jackman throws a head kick but Liddell moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Liddell closes the distance but jackman moves to the side
and jackman counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
jackman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Liddell does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

jackman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Liddell is staying active underneath jackman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
jackman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than jackman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Liddell is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Liddell is working hard here to advance position.

Liddell wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Liddell trying to control the hands but jackman won't let him.
Liddell covers up after that shot from jackman.

Liddell has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
jackman has his arm under Liddell's chin here. Game over son! jackman squeezes tightly and Liddell is forced to tap out!
