Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Mayweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mayweather's choice of entrance music: Machine Gun. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease.
Mayweather stuffs the takedown.
Smith slaps away a takedown attempt from Mayweather, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Mayweather fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Smith sprawls well initially but Mayweather persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mayweather wants to stand up but Smith has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Mayweather tries to pass the half guard into mount. Smith knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Smith jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mayweather walks away with a smile on his face. Smith gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Smith fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Mayweather holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Mayweather is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Smith can't fight it off and eventually Mayweather manages to take the fight to the floor. Smith looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

and Smith decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mayweather's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Smith drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mayweather manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Smith has Mayweather in his guard.
