0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Terry Bull! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bull fails with a takedown attempt. Shakespeare gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Shakespeare breaks the clinch.
Bull closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shakespeare circles away. Bull fails with a takedown attempt from distance. William Shakespeare has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terry Bull. Shakespeare takes the fight into the clinch. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. The fight moves into the clinch position. Shakespeare breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nice shot by Shakespeare. Shakespeare moves into the clinch successfully.
Shakespeare crunches a lovely knee into Bull's ribcage. Bull is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Shakespeare gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Shakespeare manages to break the clinch.
Shakespeare lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bull drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bull trying to control the position from guard on top but Shakespeare is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bull not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Shakespeare is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bull stands up and waves to Shakespeare to follow him. Shakespeare is looking to chop away at Bull's legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Shakespeare scores with a takedown into Bull's guard. Shakespeare cracks Bull with a solid left hand. Bull is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bull working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shakespeare doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shakespeare manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bull working a defensive guard here.
Bull being controlled here, momentarily. Shakespeare stands up and waves to Bull to follow him. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shakespeare uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that William Shakespeare will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nice straight punches there by Shakespeare. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Shakespeare. Bull scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Shakespeare is pushing Bull's head away, looking to escape. Bull manages to hold on to the position though. Shakespeare regains half guard there - taking advantage of Bull's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Shakespeare looks like he's trying to stand up.

Bull with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bull wants to free his trapped foot but Shakespeare is holding on for dear life with his legs. Shakespeare is not content to let Bull control the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bull shoots in for a takedown but Shakespeare shows good takedown defense. Bull fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Shakespeare sprawls well initially but Bull persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bull trying to control from half guard but Shakespeare is working away. Bull might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Shakespeare kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Bull with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shakespeare tries to get to full guard but Bull has control of the leg. Shakespeare throws a strike from the bottom but Bull passes into side control!

Bull is working for an americana but Shakespeare has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Bull was thinking about the submission. Bull looking to sit in guard and control but Shakespeare gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bull wants to hit a switch here but Shakespeare passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bull there! Bull slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Shakespeare is tying to control. Bull wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bull is controlling Shakespeare's position as best he can from this difficult position. Shakespeare is thwarting Bull's attempts to control the position. Bull actively working from the bottom here.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shakespeare lands a two punch combo.
Shakespeare scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Bull drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Bull keeps the fight on the outside. Shakespeare tries to clinch but Bull is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bull misses with a takedown and Shakespeare counters with an outside leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Shakespeare. Bull takes one on the button. Nice takedown defense from Bull. No joy for Shakespeare on that attempt. Bull tries to clinch up and Shakespeare counters with an outside leg kick.
