Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seymour Butts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Seymour Butts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marc Knight! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butts looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Knight! Butts unloading with bombs! Butts controlling the position easily from mount. Knight is in all sorts of trouble here.
Butts controlling from the full mount. Knight is desperately trying to improve his position but Butts has a good base and remains in mount. Knight wants to hold on but Butts pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Butts slows the pace down in half guard. Knight moves into full guard.
Butts looking to pass the guard. Butts won't allow Knight to sweep him here. Butts got a little sloppy there for a moment and Knight has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Butts has managed to get both his arms back between Knight's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knight swivels though and keeps the full guard. Butts slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Butts has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Butts preventing the sweep. Butts controlling from the top position. Butts postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butts wants to control from the top but Knight keeps moving. Knight trying to keep a closed guard but Butts is proving a slippery customer.
Butts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knight swivels though and keeps the full guard. Knight throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Knight scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Knight checks the leg kick nicely there.
Knight stuffs the takedown attempt from Butts. Butts gets slowly back to his feet. Knight connects with a right hand. Butts shakes it off. Butts looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Knight displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Butts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seymour Butts. That's going to take a lot out of him. Knight stuffs the takedown attempt from Butts. Butts gets slowly back to his feet. Knight is looking to clinch but Butts is avoiding it.
Butts scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Knight manages to work his way to half guard, despite Butts's best efforts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Seymour Butts will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Butts controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Knight is working to get back to half guard.
Knight is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Knight sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Butts is pressing down on Knight's thigh, looking to free his foot. Knight is holding on for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butts is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Knight is trying to control but can't.
Butts thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Knight is looking for a sweep. Butts is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Butts knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Knight on the ground. Butts wants to pass to mount but Knight is defending the position. Knight wants to control but Butts is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Knight slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Knight wants to sweep here but Butts controlling him for the moment. Butts got a little sloppy there for a moment and Knight has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Knight stuffs the takedown attempt from Butts. Butts gets slowly back to his feet. Seymour Butts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Knight moves into the clinch successfully.
A looping hook to the body misses from Knight. Butts does a little dance to reset his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Seymour Butts will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Butts closes the distance and clinches up with Knight, looking for a takedown. Butts pushes Knight against the cage but Knight circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Butts bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Butts is looking to take a break and control but Knight is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Butts taking a breather here. Knight is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight tries to strike from the bottom but misses. You can see the frustration on Knight's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Butts controls the position. Butts trying to control the action but Knight is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Knight tries to close the distance and clinch up but Butts swats him away and circles back towards the center. Butts throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Knight's waist but Knight gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Butts off to one side. Butts fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seymour Butts. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Butts looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Knight wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knight gets back to full guard.
Butts looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Seymour Butts overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Knight wants to sweep here but Butts controlling him for the moment.

And that's the end of the fight! Seymour Butts showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Butts, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
