Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Parrotface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silly Goose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Parrotface!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Silly Goose!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parrotface scores a takedown into full mount!
Parrotface working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Parrotface really is a fat lump.
Goose can't escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parrotface wants to take Goose's back but he can't do it this time.
Goose sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Parrotface really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

Goose is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Parrotface pulls his head out easily.

Parrotface closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Goose did well to prevent Parrotface getting side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Parrotface moves into range and connects with a jab.
Parrotface works over Goose's head and body with a nice combination.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Parrotface feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Goose had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Parrotface is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Goose Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Parrotface's back instead.

Parrotface manages to reverse the position and now he's in Goose's guard. Nice work there by Parrotface.
Parrotface tries to free his leg and advance position but Goose is retaining full guard.

Goose has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Parrotface is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Goose.

Goose looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Parrotface has picked Goose up and slammed him! Goose can't keep hold of the triangle and Parrotface manages to pass to side control!

That was a close second round but I would say that Mr Parrotface will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Goose has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Parrotface. Oh but Goose has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Parrotface goes limp - he's gone! Goose jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
