Adams comes to the ring accompanied by Bang Your Head. Harris has chosen Slaughterhouse-Microphone as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Warren Adams!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Colt Harris!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris loads up on a big right hand but Adams slips the punch.
Adams misses with a jab, cross combination.
Harris misses the jab.
Harris fails in his attempt to clinch.
Adams fails with a takedown attempt.
Harris lands the left hand.
Adams shoots in but Harris avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Harris lands a two punch combo.
Harris misses with an uppercut.

Adams shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harris manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Adams trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Adams is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Harris is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Adams wants to pass the guard but Harris is keeping the position.
Harris looking to control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Harris is looking to stand up but Adams isn't so interested in that idea.
Adams wants to control from the top but Harris keeps moving.
Harris can't keep his opponent in guard - Adams advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Adams looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Harris with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Adams sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Harris defending well though.
Harris pushes Adams off looking to stand but Adams dives back in and keeps control.
Harris is looking to get back to full guard here but Adams has managed to pass to side control instead.
Adams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Adams throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Harris takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Adams lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Harris hang on?
Harris is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
You get the feeling that Harris really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harris is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Adams lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Harris wants to control but Adams is having none of it.
Adams scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Harris?


Harris is rocked!
Adams fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Harris is still in real trouble! Can Adams finish him?

Adams jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Harris manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Adams has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Harris!

Adams lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Adams looking to control but Harris is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Adams in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Adams with the ground and pound from mount.
Adams cracks Harris with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
