Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel The Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Ridlle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Snake comes to the cage accompanied by Portuguese Anthem. Tom Ridlle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel The Snake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tom Ridlle! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ridlle tries for a takedown but The Snake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The Snake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ridlle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ridlle gets caught flat footed, as The Snake shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ridlle wants to sweep here but The Snake controlling him for the moment. The Snake thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The Snake drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and The Snake jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The Snake drops back looking for a leg! Ridlle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ridlle manages to kick The Snake off! The Snake jumps back into Ridlle's guard. The Snake thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The Snake drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ridlle manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now The Snake has Ridlle in his guard. The Snake throws his legs up looking for a submission but Ridlle uses it to pass to side control.
Ridlle looking to punish the body of his opponent here but The Snake is avoiding damage well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ridlle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ridlle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ridlle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by The Snake, who protects the arm well. Ridlle is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, The Snake has escaped the position, nice work there. Ridlle has hold of The Snake's arm. He's looking for a kimura. The Snake seems comfortable defending it but Ridlle has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! The Snake is real pain and he's forced to tap out! The Snake is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ridlle couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tom Ridlle!
