Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Rominick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jui Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Rominick had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Rominick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jui Jitsu! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rominick bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jitsu's head. No luck for Rominick with that takedown attempt. Jitsu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Jitsu swinging wilding here.
Rominick pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jitsu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rominick misses the jab. Jitsu throws a right and a left that both miss. Rominick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jitsu keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rominick. Rominick throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jitsu's waist but Jitsu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rominick off to one side. Jitsu slips under a jab from Rominick. Jitsu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rominick throws out the jab. Jitsu lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Jitsu feints and as Rominick raises his hands in defense, Jitsu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rominick is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jitsu works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jitsu seems to be looking for submissions.
Jitsu is pressing down on Rominick's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rominick is holding on for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rominick is defending against the submission attempts here by Jitsu.
Jitsu looks gassed! Jitsu is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rominick sees it coming and defends easily. Rominick moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Rominick controls Jitsu momentarily but Jitsu frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jitsu advances to half guard. Jitsu wants to advance to full mount but Rominick doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Jitsu wants to control from the top but Rominick keeps moving. Jitsu tries to free his leg and advance position but Rominick is retaining full guard. Jitsu wants to control from the top but Rominick keeps moving. Rominick trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jitsu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rominick swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jitsu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rominick. Rominick throws a looping overhand right but Jitsu ducks down to avoid it. Jitsu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Rominick. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rominick feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Rominick trying to control but Jitsu is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jitsu has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Jitsu wants to sweep but no luck. Jitsu looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rominick puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Jitsu looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rominick wants to control but Jitsu is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jui Jitsu dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rominick shoots in but Jitsu avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rominick avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rominick throws out a loose jab but Jitsu uses good head movement to avoid it. Jitsu avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nice sprawl there from Rominick as Jitsu shoots in. Rominick loads up on a big right hand but Jitsu slips the punch. Jui Jitsu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jitsu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jitsu is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rominick sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jitsu looks to land a combination but Rominick avoids it well. A lazy left from Rominick finds it's target. Rominick cracks Jitsu with a right hand to the side of the head. Jitsu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jitsu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rominick. Rominick is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jitsu. Rominick misses with a looping left. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rominick lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Rominick scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A swing and a miss from Rominick. Rominick displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jitsu throws out the jab. Rominick misses with a looping left.

Jitsu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Rominick tries to roll over but Jitsu keeps him under control. Jitsu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rominick does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rominick is controlling Jitsu's position as best he can from this difficult position. Jitsu works his way into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rominick is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jitsu is controlling him well. Jitsu working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rominick manages to get back to half guard. Rominick trying to control here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jitsu tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rominick knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rominick has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jitsu is working away from the top position though.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jitsu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rominick. Rominick connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jitsu's hands. Jitsu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mark Rominick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jui Jitsu. Jitsu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jitsu scores with a hook. Jitsu defending well as Rominick loads up on a big left hand. Mark Rominick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice sprawl there from Jitsu as Rominick shoots in. Rominick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rominick wants it to stay on the feet. Jitsu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jitsu moves out of range of the strikes. Jitsu looks to land a combination but Rominick avoids it well. Rominick misses with a hook. Jitsu ducked under it nicely. Rominick shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jitsu sprawls well. Jitsu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rominick gets slowly back to his feet. Jitsu shoots in and bounces Rominick off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jitsu wants to pass the guard but Rominick is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mark Rominick will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rominick manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jitsu ducks under a wild hook from Rominick. Jitsu moves away from the strike by Rominick. Jitsu swinging wilding here.
Jitsu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rominick. Jitsu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rominick pinned against the cage. Rominick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jitsu slips a straight right by Rominick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rominick lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Rominick dives in and grabs Jitsu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jitsu pushes down on Rominick's head and hops out. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jitsu misses with a series of wild punches.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rominick lands a really nice looking cross but Jitsu seems unphased.
Jitsu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rominick tries to avoid it but Jitsu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rominick to the ground. Rominick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mark Rominick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jui Jitsu. Jitsu throws a nice looking combination but Rominick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rominick lands a head shot. Rominick waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Jitsu. Rominick moves in looking to clinch but Jitsu pushes him off. Rominick keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A cross from Rominick lands. Rominick scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Jitsu walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Rominick is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Jitsu looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jitsu is pressing down on Rominick's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rominick is holding on for now. The fighters are battling for position here. Rominick manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jitsu trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rominick tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rominick is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Rominick misses with a short punch on the inside. Rominick has a couple of punches blocked by Jitsu.

Jitsu's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rominick. Jitsu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jitsu misses with a two punch combination.
Rominick throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rominick drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jitsu is looking for a sweep. Jitsu looking for a sweep but Rominick has passed into full mount! Oh no! Jitsu is trying to escape the mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jitsu is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jitsu is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Rominick looking to control but Jitsu is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rominick avoids the attempt from Jitsu to control. Jui Jitsu has got the better of the ground game so far. Rominick takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Rominick showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rominick has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
