Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wesley Correira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wesley Correira has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bob Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wesley Correira! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker has closed the distance and engaged Correira in a clinch.

Parker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Correira has him pressed against the cage. Correira should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Parker drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Parker is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Correira utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Parker is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Parker wants a takedown.

A frustrated look appears on Parker's face as he tries to break the clinch. Parker drags the fight down to the ground.
Parker lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Correira! Correira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Parker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Correira is squirming around, avoiding Parker's attempts to control the action. Parker looking to finish with strikes here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker lands a big elbow. Correira defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Parker. Parker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Parker sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker dominating with strikes here. Parker controlling from mount. Correira blocking the ground and pound. Parker can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Correira is looking to escape. Parker content just to control the position here. Parker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Correira looks a forlorn figure.
Parker scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Parker controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Parker has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Parker dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A shot to de liver by Parker. Beautiful body shot. Parker looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Parker content to stall in guard here. Parker throwing strikes but missing. Parker's corner is telling him to maintain position. Correira is breathing heavily.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Bob Parker just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Parker shoots in but no luck this time. Parker lands a nice looking body shot.
Parker connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Correira to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Parker!
